You TubeI've just added some media footage from August 2007 to the Media and Press section- linked to You Tube.
Identity Game ShowThe lovely Donny Osmond is hosting the new game show Identity on BBC2 from Monday 27th August which is on from Monday to Friday's at 5.15pm. I was asked along to appear as one of the 'strangers' on the show. I can't yet say what my identity was, but I had a lot of fun during filming for the show.
Britians Strongest Woman 2007Well I'm just recovering after competing in this fun, but tiring competition, which took place in Bexhill On Sea in Sussex. There were five events in the competition- my favourite event was the 190kg Yoke carry over a ten metre distance.
Training hard for Britain's Strongest Woman 2007This years Britain's Strongest Woman competition takes place at Bexhill on Sea on 12th August 2007. I'm training very hard for this- I have only seven weeks left till I compete, so the pressure is on.
SingingRecently I have taken some vocal coaching lessons. I love singing (although only in my car at the moment!) I have been interested in singing for a long time. Now I have gained more confidence from training and competing in the Strongwoman sport I feel ready to give this a go. My vocal coach says I have great pitch & tone and that I'm in tune- so it's a positive start!
Asthma UK MagazineI recently did an interview for the Asthma UK magazine. This interview appears in the magazine, with photos in Issue 13, May-July 2007 edition. I have had asthma since I was 13 years old. Currently I take inhalers on a daily basis. My asthma is usually pretty well controlled- I do have to be careful in the autumn and if I get a cold. Being physically active and participating in the StrongWoman sport has helped to improve my asthma.
Pick Me Up magazineI'm in a magazine today called Pick Me Up- a national weekly womens magazine available to buy in the UK. The magazine have run some nice photos to go with the article.
